PhD student Bowie Bo Gyung Kim published an interview article with artist Muhammad Toukhy in the online art magazine Impulse. In their conversation, Bowie explored the possibilities of online exhibitions and discussed the nuances of audience participation, self-awareness, and the evolving nature of artistic presence in virtual spaces.

 The related online exhibition project, titled The Pond of Person A, was supported by the Header/Footer Gallery of the New Media Caucus. In this project, Bowie proposed a virtual browsing experience within the online exhibition space and presented the web-based artwork KISMET by Muhammad Toukhy.
